What makes the NS7 different from a regular dash cam?
The NS7 pairs a thermal (infrared) sensor with a visible-light camera so it can detect heat signatures in complete darkness, heavy fog, smoke, or glare — giving improved hazard detection and AI-driven warnings beyond standard video recording.
Can it really detect people and animals at night or in zero light?
Yes. The thermal sensor reads heat, allowing the unit to detect pedestrians, pets and larger animals at long range even with no ambient light. Typical detection distance is advertised up to ~200 meters depending on conditions and target size.
Will it work in fog, rain, smoke or dusty conditions?
Thermal imaging penetrates fog, smoke and dust better than visible-light cameras, so the NS7 maintains usable detection and situational awareness where ordinary cameras struggle. Heavy precipitation will still reduce effective range, as with any optical system.
Does it record video like a standard dash cam?
